Arizona Dependency Cases _ – Just Thinking To Myself:

I read this morning in an article “Mother of  Foster Children reacts to new CPS Policy” http://www.tucsonnewsnow.com/story/20293418/mother-of-foster-children-reacts-to-new-cps-policy  that Dependencies cases for Pima County are up by a whopping 50%.  I am shocked how can this be?  Wow so really everyone and their mothers are dealing with CPS here in Pima County.

I also read  in that article that CPS was cutting funding, how are they cutting funding when I just read and already posted about them hiring 200 more workers http://www.bizjournals.com/phoenix/morning_call/2012/10/arizona-child-welfare-agency-could.html.

So how can they be cutting back so much that they barely have enough to maintain the visitation for parents if they are going to hire 200 more workers?
